About the book

After the Prompt: The Operating Model for Companies That Want More Than AI Productivity is a book about what comes after the first wave of prompt-based AI adoption, once the productivity dashboards stop telling leaders anything they did not already know. Its central claim is that prompting helps people work faster, but intent architecture helps organizations work differently. The difference is the whole operating model.

The book argues that the most interesting AI work of the next decade will not be about better prompts. It will be about writing organizational intent down with enough precision that systems can act on it without a human translating every time. It tests this across revenue, creative work, legal and operations and finance, and product and strategy. And it describes what an intent-driven organization looks like from the inside.

It is written for the people who have been quietly dissatisfied with every AI deployment they have seen, who sense that the ceiling is low and cannot quite name why. Across twelve chapters, it moves from the ceiling of prompt-based productivity, through the discipline of intent architecture (and the failure modes around it), through how the discipline plays out in each business function, and into the operating model that comes after, with a 90-day playbook for leaders ready to start.
